Marissa Ann Mayer was born on 30th May 1975. She is work as Vice President of search product and user experience at Google search engine company.  Marissa Mayer leads the product management and engineering efforts of Google’s local, mobile, and contextual discovery product including Google Maps, Google Maps for Mobile, Local Search, Google Earth, Street View, Latitude and the others. She wes become youngest member of Google’s executive operating comitte. After she work for Google 11 years Marissa become leader of Google product management and design for Google web search, images, news, books, products, toolbar, and iGoogle. Marisa started become Google employee since 1999 as a first woman engineer.

Something that amazing from her because of her contribution and leadership. She have been recognized by numerous publication such as New York Times, News Week, and Business Week. Fortune magazine mention Marissa as most powerfull woman list. By world economy forum and Marissa get achievement as young global leader. Beside her job as Google vice president she is also wellknown as celebrity. That is because she  has important rule for world most popular website Google. Everytime information about Marissa always hunted by paparazi.

Marissa has a background education related with computer and information technology from Stanford University. Marissa received her bachelor’s degree in symbolic systems and her master’s degree in computer science from Stanford University. For both degrees, she specialized in artificial intelligence. She also holds an honorary doctorate of engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. But Marissa contribution for google is not related with engineering or technical skill. Engineering for Marissa just for basic knowledge. Almost of her contribution for Google related with creativity which is using brain of the art.

Marissa also get Wal-Mart nomination. Wal-Mart said it has nominated Google executive Marissa Mayer to its board. She would be the retail giant’s 16th board member. Mayer is Google’s VP for local and maps. “At Walmart, we are focused on giving our millions of customers around the globe ‘anytime anywhere’ access whether it is through a mobile device, online or in a physical store,” Walmart Chairman Rob Walton said in a statement. “We are on the cusp of a massive transformation in the way people shop in our increasingly connected world. Marissa’s insights and expertise in the technology and consumer areas are valuable assets to Walmart as we move forward.” Mayer, in her own statement says she has “long been a customer and admirer of the company.” Really? Marissa Mayer shops at Wal-Mart?. “Walmart is an amazing story of entrepreneurship and, as one of the world’s most powerful brands, touches millions of lives every day. I look forward to contributing to Walmart’s continued growth, success, and innovation in the years to come,” she said. Mayer also serves on the boards of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the San Francisco Ballet, the New York City Ballet and the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.

Marissa has been featured in various publications, including Newsweek (“10 Tech Leaders of the Future”), Red Herring (“15 Women to Watch”), Business 2.0 (“Silicon Valley Dream Team”), BusinessWeek, and Fast Company. In 2008, at 33, Marissa became the youngest woman ever to be included on Fortune’s Most Powerful Women list (#50).
